Novel Biodegradable fluids

Xaerus barrier fluids are designed with the best non-reactive synthetic base stocks available. Additives are included to provide oxidative protection in high temperature applications. The highly stable synthetic fluids offer outstanding sealing over a very wide temperature range. These fluids also have excellent viscosity index that offer low temperature fluidity and high temperature stability keeping all seal surfaces cool and deposit free.

Available Fluid Chemistries:
– PAO
– PAG

Typical application: Double mechanical seal

Xaerus is recognized globally by major OEM’s as experts in the development, technical support and recommendations of hydrocarbon and process gas compression applications. Xaerus offers advanced and reliable product support and services for factory fill or aftermarket supply. Our expertise and service includes review of the specific gas stream and compressor operating conditions offering specific dilution data for each recommendation.

Xaerus lubricant applications include:
– Process Gas Compression
– Inert Gas (nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, helium)
– Reactive Gases (hydrogen chloride, methyl chloride, hydrogen sulfide)
– Hydrocarbon (ethylene, propylene, butylene, methane, ethane, propane, butane…)

Typical Industrial Applications: Rotary Screw Compressors, Reciprocating Compressors Centrifugal Compressors, and Rotary Vane

Xaerus H-1 food grade approved fluids are formulated with the highest quality white mineral oil and polyalphaolefin (PAO) base oils to ensure optimal performance. Specific applications include air compressor, CO2, inert gases, hydraulic, and gear fluids. Life ranges depending on application can range from 2,000 hours to 8,000 hours.

Typical Industrial Applications:

  • Rotary Screw Compressors
  • Rotary Vane Compressors
  • Reciprocating Compressors
  • Vacuum Pump
  • Hydraulic and Gear

Xaerus gear fluids consist of mineral oil and full synthetic options that have been formulated with premium mineral oil, polyalphaolefin (PAO) and polyalkylene glycol (PAG) base fluids for all gear systems requiring a wide range of formulating needs. These fluids have been designed to provide proper lubrication under differing load and speed conditions such as hydrodynamic, mild boundary lubrication and boundary lubrication conditions. Product line options include fluids for applications containing soft metals such as bronze, brass and copper.

Typical Industrial Gear Applications: Worm, Bevel, Spur, Helical and Hypoid

Xaerus hydraulic oils are designed to prevent rust, oxidation, wear and sludge formation. The product line consists of both food grade and nonfood grade mineral oil and PAO based fluids. Environmentally acceptable lubricants are also available that offer renewable, aquatic safety and biodegradable properties.

Typical Hydraulic Applications:
Xaerus fluids can be designed to meet system requirements, including Denison, HF-O, Vickers industrial and mobile applications and Cincinnati Milacron P-68, P-69 and P-70 specifications.
